On Valentine's Day

So someone sends you a Valentine's Day card, and it's full of hearts and kisses and then it asks a fluffy question: "Be My Valentine?" which turns it into a psycho ransom note. What if you don't want to be their Valentine? And there's no way to respond because it's anonymous. So you can just expect they're going to turn up on your doorstep some day very soon, And You Had Better Be Ready, or else... You end up like Saint Valentine (Roman priest circa Claudius II, the roman emperor who wanted to build an army but realised married blokes would fight like girls because they'd be pining for their lovelies and bubbies so he outlawed marriage then along came Valentine who married a young couple out of empathy and "You'll be sorry!" slash-slash went Claudius, felling him flatly) - a martyr to Love. . . And the moral of that little story is . . . Love One Another Every Day. Or else...

Hey Lisa,
I just hope Emma gets me a rose in a plastic tube and a white teddy bear.
